Letterpress

I have been a member of the Rutgers Initiative for the Book since my second year of graduate school. In Fall 2023, the RIB opened its media makerspace and printing studio, the Scarlet Letterpress. I have subsequently learned by doing, getting familiar with the craft of letterpress printing by teaching workshops and hosting open letterpress hours. I’ll intermittently post some highlights of those printing efforts here.
